‘Uncommon’ Nirvana Nevermind album bought for £18,600 at public sale

An “extraordinarily uncommon” cowl of the Nirvana album Nevermind – which was signed by all members of the band – has been bought for £18,600.

The three Nirvana members signed the LP after a 700-person gig on the Bierkeller, in Bristol, in 1991 earlier than they hit international stardom.

The file sleeve was autographed for a neighborhood fan by the late lead singer Kurt Cobain, drummer and now Foo Fighters entrance man Dave Grohl, and bassist Krist Novoselic.
