Passengers evacuate burning American Airways flight in Denver

Passengers on an American Airways flight have been evacuated onto the tarmac of a Colorado airport as a fireplace broke out on the aircraft, sending smoke billowing into the air.

No accidents have been reported within the incident.

Footage of the evacuation on-line confirmed passengers huddled on the wing of the business airliner, some holding luggage, with flames burning close to the underside of the aircraft.

The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) mentioned passengers used inflatable slides to succeed in the bottom safely at Denver Worldwide Airport. The company mentioned it might examine the reason for the incident.
