Anurag Kashyap apologises to Brahmin neighborhood: Forgot dignity due to anger

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has issued an apology to the Brahmin neighborhood following remarks he made that have been deemed obscene. The director expressed remorse for his phrases, stating that he misplaced his composure attributable to anger. This comes after his ‘I will urinate on Brahmins’ remark amidst the ‘Phule’ row.

Kashyap’s feedback had sparked controversy, resulting in backlash from varied quarters. In his apology, he acknowledged that his statements have been inappropriate and warranted that he didn’t intend to harm the feelings of the neighborhood.
