A minimum of 21 killed in Puebla

A minimum of 21 individuals have been killed in a street accident in central Mexico, in keeping with an area official.

The three-vehicle crash occurred on the freeway between Cuacnopalan and Oaxaca in Puebla state on Wednesday morning, mentioned Samuel Aguilar Pala, an area authorities official.

Mr Pala mentioned 18 individuals died on the scene and one other three died later in hospital.

A number of others have been injured and are receiving medical consideration, he wrote on X.

In line with native media, the crash concerned a tanker truck, a bus and a van.

There have been a number of extreme accidents on highways in Mexico in recent times.

In February, dozens of individuals died in a bus crash in Tabasco in southern Mexico.
