Donald Trump has ordered his authorities to reopen and broaden Alcatraz, the notorious former jail on an island close to San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge.

President Trump mentioned that “for too lengthy America has been stricken by vicious, violent, and repeat felony offenders”, in a message on his Reality Social web site on Sunday.

The concept has been described as “not a critical one” by main Democrats.
