Deaf actress Sophie Stone on Shakespeare with signal language

The primary deaf actress to have graduated from the performing college RADA says she hopes her expertise has paved the way in which for different deaf actors in theatre and tv.

Sophie Stone has appeared on Physician Who, Two Doorways Down and Casualty.

She is now having fun with her newest function on stage in a manufacturing of William Shakespeare’s Macbeth on the Lyric Hammersmith.

She says higher methods of working will imply that, sooner or later, it will likely be simpler for deaf expertise to return to the fore.
