BBC Speaking Motion pictures presenter Tom Brook explores the simply launched IMAX movie One to One: John and Yoko, which covers the 18-month interval when the couple first arrived in New York Metropolis in 1971 and lived within the Greenwich Village neighbourhood.
The documentary makes use of restored live performance footage, never-before-seen dwelling films and recordings of phone conversations.
For Tom, a long-time Lennon fan, watching the movie was an emotional expertise. He coated the slaying of the previous Beatle on the Dakota house constructing for BBC Information on 8 December 1980.
