Skype declares it should shut in Could

Skype has introduced it’s closing from Could.

The web chat and cellphone service, which is owned by Microsoft, made the announcement on X.

It stated: “Beginning in Could 2025, Skype will now not be obtainable.

“Over the approaching days you’ll be able to register to Microsoft Groups Free together with your Skype account to remain related with all of your chats and contacts.

“Thanks for being a part of Skype.”

Microsoft made no fast remark when contacted by BBC Information.
