Explosion at Spanish mine kills no less than 4

A minimum of 4 folks have died and two are lacking after an explosion at a mine in northern Spain, officers say.

The blast occurred on the Cerredo mine in Degaña, Asturias, some 450km (278 miles) north-west of Madrid round 09:30 native time (08:30 BST).

A minimum of three others had been injured, in response to native emergency providers, and a search is underneath manner for the lacking employees. Fireplace and rescue providers have been despatched to the scene.

Spain’s Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez despatched his condolences to the households of the victims.
